What is Microblading, exactly?

Microblading is a relatively new, manual method that allows us to recreate, correct, and improve the appearance of the natural brow. This procedure is ideal for both people who have natural brows and those who don’t. The results are natural-looking and long-lasting. The microblading procedure is often considered a type of permanent makeup, however, its concept is different: the ink is deposited with a manual pen that allows technicians to draw crisp, thin, and natural-looking hairs. The results often last from 9 to 18 months.



Does Microblading Hurt?


Pain is relative. “Some feel more than others. Overall it feels like little scratches. You feel it, but it’s not unbearable. A topical numbing cream can be applied before the process to dull the pain and discomfort.


How Long Does a Microblading Procedure Take?

Microblading for beginners usually takes around 2 hours per client. Once you gained enough experience, you can complete the procedure in 1 hour or less.


How Long Does it Last?

Depending on your skin and lifestyle, microblading can last 9-18 months. Touch-ups are needed to maintain your brows.


What Can I Charge For Microblading?


The Microblading procedure can run from $300 – $700 depending on location. Microblading is a great way to make a lot of money since it is still fairly new to the US. There is not a whole lot of competition for Microbalding but the demand is really high, so for the students who are getting into Microblading right now, they are making a ton of money.
